Job Description
The Membership Development Manager (MDM) is responsible for creating and nurturing meaningful relationships with key local communities, as well as, senior-focused businesses to grow membership year-round. He/she will design and orchestrate events and develop fun, fresh and cost-effective techniques to keep senior participation and satisfaction high so positive word of mouth can also help fuel membership growth. We are looking to hire for current and future openings in the following Central Market Locations: Hialeah, Maimi Gardens, Miami Lakes, North Miami, North Miami Beach, and West Kendall.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nurtures, builds and cultivates business-to-business partnerships to gain new members year round.
Creates penetration plans and initiatives in key target markets.
Plans, coordinates and executes local events within the community (e.g., information sessions, health fairs, doc talks, etc.) to help reach our target market (i.e., medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors)
Cultivates strong relationships with insurance agents and case workers to keep ChenMed et. al Neighborhood Medical Centers as their top provider choice for senior healthcare when referring patients to a primary care physician.
Ensures insurance agents and/or brokers are present at all community events to ensure timely patient assignment to ChenMed et. al Neighborhood Medical Centers.
Partners with community officials, businesses and senior outreach programs to develop initiatives that will appropriately drive new patient growth.
Effectively communicates the ChenMed et. al Neighborhood value proposition, at all community events.
Drives new member growth by appropriately educating potential patients on our value proposition and healthcare model.
Develops new distribution channels and arrangements to support new patient growth.
Partners with sales leadership to improve effectiveness of partner engagements.
Effectively builds trusting relationships with brokers, insurance agents, case workers and third party vendors associated with seniors.
Develops and executes specific broker and delegated partner strategies and plans.
Engages with new patients through and beyond their first appointment.
Meets deliverables within established timeframes.
Consistently meets expected productivity goals. Delivers on established commitments.
Proficiently deliver prescribed presentation in front of large audiences.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Relevant experience with establishing and maintaining relationship with business/vendor partners.
Ability to manage vendors as it relates to event planning, negotiating contracts with venues where events are taking place.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
Must be detail-oriented and proficient in MS office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook) and CRM tools (Salesforce).
Established local community network and/or connection with leaders, local officials and businesses.
Strong written and verbal communication skills (e.g., pitch letters, outbound calls, effective one-on-one meetings, group presentations, etc.).
Ability to attract patients with a warm, gentle disposition as it relates to our target market and their caregivers (agility to close sales without being perceived as pushy).
Must possess a positive mental attitude.
Bilingual is a plus. Ability to travel locally up to 75%

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
At least four (4) years of successful sales experience required; working with seniors a plus. Three (3) years of business-to-business experience or equivalent management experience required.
A valid Class C or D or State equivalent driver's license, issued by the State of current employment, required. Current, personal automobile insurance needs to be equal or greater than your state, county or city requirements. Must have $100,000 No-Fault or Personal Injury (PIP)/$300,000 Property Damage Liability (PDL) Limits requirement on the personal automobile insurance policy. Incumbents in this role will be subject to bi-annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks to ensure proper compliance. Since driving to various locations plays an integral role in satisfying the basic requirements of your job duties, it is imperative that all MDMs remains compliant with valid driver's license record.
