Dr. Camille McDonald-Toussaint began treating her first “patient” at a young age – an accident-prone sister for whom she would bandage boo-boos. A toy medical kit from her parents further reinforced her desire to become a physician and set her on the path to earn her bachelor’s degree at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education followed by her medical degree at New York Medical College.
Dr. McDonald-Toussaint’s favorite part of her profession is working with her patients to get to the bottom of their issues and resolving them. She adds, “Working with seniors is extremely gratifying. I have a world of respect for them and enjoy hearing their fascinating life stories. I strive to work closely with my patients to assist them in optimizing their health, so that they may have as many active years as possible.”
