Dr. Lani Braun is driven to improve her patients' health and their healthcare experience. "I'm responsible for every aspect of their care," she says. "Their well-being matters to me, too. I enjoy caring for seniors and helping them resolve different physical and emotional issues. To do that, I listen to them. I learn a lot from their experiences, which helps me provide more personalized care."
Dr. Braun is an internal medicine specialist who serves patients in the Aventura center. She earned her degree in medicine and surgery at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and completed her internship at the University of Illinois (UI) Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. She also served as Chief Resident of the internal medicine training program at the UI Masonic Medical Center after completing her residency. Dr. Braun is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
A native of Ecuador, Dr. Braun speaks Spanish and English. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, especially running, and spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter. She is also a passionate medical volunteer who dedicates her time and talent to help others in the U.S. and South America.
