Patients are my favorite part of my profession. They trust me with their health and include me in their world by sharing their life experiences, culture, memories, and stories of their family with me.
About Oyinda Ajumobi
Dr. Oyinda Ajumobi accompanied her mother, who is a physician, on a medical mission trip when she was eight years old. “Since then, I knew I was going to dedicate my life to serving in healthcare,” she explains. She finds it rewarding to care for the senior population. “Patients are my favorite part of my profession. They trust me with their health and include me in their world by sharing their life experiences, culture, memories, and stories of their family with me,” she says. She adds, “I’m also available for any health concerns and provide them with my direct line.”
In her free time, Dr. Ajumobi enjoys hiking, playing the piano, and listening to Afro-Caribbean music. She has lived in Grenada and considers it her “second home.”
