Dr. Margarita Perez Caminero has always put her community first. Her volunteer and professional work has allowed her to help numerous non-profit organizations and clinics to provide health screenings, educational services and primary medical care to those in need both in the U.S. and in her native Dominican Republic.
“I believe it’s important to lend a hand in whatever way we can,” she says. “For me, helping to ensure people get access to quality care, especially seniors, is rewarding. It also helps me stay connected.”
