About Melissa Chamblain
Ever since Dr. Melissa Chamblain was 16, she wanted to be a physician and make a positive impact in the lives of others. “My favorite part has been seeing smiles at the end of visits,” Dr. Chamblain says. Knowing how little things can make a difference, she says, “I always aim to treat patients with respect and kindness, and clarify any doubts or questions. I also love getting to know their interests and loved ones as I strive to improve quality of life and health literacy.”
In her personal time, Dr. Chamblain likes to keep in touch with her extended family, listen to music, and dance. Being from Haiti, she enjoys traditional Haitian folklore dance in addition to bachata, merengue, salsa, and West African dances.
