About Stephanie Backer
Dr. Stephanie Backer knew at an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. “Working in healthcare allows me to reach and help others, which brings me absolute joy,” she says. She loves caring for her senior patients and serving as their advocate. “I am an open person who is devoted to my patients,” Dr. Backer says. If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would increase the amount of time physicians and patients have together. “I would love for my patients to have more time to talk to me and express themselves,” she explains.
When not with patients, Dr. Backer loves spending time with her nieces and nephew. She shares that she took dance classes for twelve years.
